“Actually, the title fits the track perfectly. Within those eleven minutes, Tonota manages to create a feeling of simultaneous uninterrupted flow and minimal and barely noticeable shifts. The layers of sound unwrap in slow motion while the rhythmic pulse stays active in some instrumental parts before the percussions fly in. Halfway between (more ambient) post rock and dub techno, tonota’s expression reveals thoughtfulness and an almost film-like, restrained, yet rich emotional palette. A whole album of such material would be more than welcome”.
