If you ever wondered if you would become someone else if you could, Hana, the main character in the animated film Second Skin, has a simple answer to this question – yes. In this world there is a way to do it and she knows exactly who she wants and why.
ARTIST COMMENT:
This was a dream come true when Dora booked me to do music and song for her movie. It was my first job in that style. I knew already that I would love to do music for film, but during this process I found a new love for making a foley. Also, even though it was hard to be responsible for the whole sound picture, it was interesting to see how I’ve balanced those two worlds. I am sure that they influenced each other and my decision making.

A misunderstanding involving a shiny sock that once belonged to the Kondukter's daughter will confront them with the trauma of the catastrophe that changed their lives.
ARTIST COMMENT:
This movie definitely taught me that the less is more. I’ve learned that sometimes you make bigger effect without adding music than pushing it to emphasise emotions in the scene.

While I was making music for this movie, I got my first synth, ASM Hydrasynth desktop! So through this soundtrack, I’ve learned the basics of this synth and many sounds originate from it.

'Ovdje nema bijelog zeca’ is a contemporary dance play that was choreographed by Koraljka Begović, Mia Štark and Nastasja Štefanić Kralj. The idea behind the project was to explore alternative places to work such as forests, islands, abandoned hotels, islands etc. It was a response to lack of suitable spaces for dance rehearsals. It premiered in January 2023 in Zagreb Dance Centre.
ARTIST COMMENT:
It was really interesting to compose for a dance play because they don’t rehearse it chronologically until the very end. So I had to compose different small parts for their sections and have in mind that I have to be able to connect everything in the end.

ABOUT
‘Promjene i to’ is a contemporary dance play choreographed by Sintija Kučić, Nastasja Štefanić Kralj i Eleonora Magdalena Vrdoljak in collaboration with Aleksandra Janeva ImfeldThe idea behind this play was to explore a connection between change and stability.
The aspiration of the project is the desire to map the stable into the unstable, to seek peace in turmoil, to seek order in chaos, to seek security when nothing is certain, to seek meaning in nonsense... that is, to creatively challenge micro and macro situations that at first seem contradictory. The play premiered in TALA Dance Center in December 2023.
ARTIST COMMENT:
For the second play I was much smarter and I just made a lot of different layers of sounds, melodies and rhythm that can function together so it was much easier to make the final soundtrack.
